Q.1   What does it mean to be “washed” by Jesus?  (See also Psalm 51:7).

Q.2  If one is already washed, why do one’s feet need ongoing cleansing?

Q.3   What does Jesus mean when He says we should wash one another’s feet?

Read John 13:18-30

Q.4   Why do you think the disciples were unaware that Judas was a false follower of Jesus?

Q.5   Read Matthew 26:22.  Why would each true disciple of Jesus ask (regarding being a betrayer), “Surely not I, Lord?”

Q.6   (V31) What did Jesus mean when He said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in Him”?

Q.7   (V34)   The Old Testament commandment was to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbour as yourself.  What does the new commandment mean to you?
