The Woman on the Beast

Read Revelation 17

Q.1  From verses 1 and 5, what does this woman represent, and why is she called a prostitute or harlot?

Q.2  What is the beast, and what does it mean that the woman sits on the beast and also on the waters?  (See V3 and V15).

Q.3  (Vs 16-18)  Why will the beast and the 10 horns (powers) hate and destroy the harlot?

Q.5  What 3 sets of people mourn the loss of Babylon (V9, 11, and 17), and who rejoice (V20)?

Q.6  It is said that we all live in Babylon.  Why are we to come out of her (V4-5)?  What does this mean in real terms for you?
