Someone has said, “Whoever has the power, the politics and the persuasion decides the truth”.
The Roman and British empires were once very powerful. Both have disappeared from view. But the Gospel – God’ truth in Jesus Christ – remains triumphant for eternity. The Apostle Paul puts it tellingly: “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes”.
Christ has sent, and continuers to send out, his messengers with this Gospel of eternal life to the ends of the earth.
