History shows that leaders of political systems and religious systems are often intertwined and use each other.
In Revelation 17 and 18 we are told how false religion, called the prostitute or harlot, rides on the back of the world dictator called “the beast”.
The beast, possessed by Satan who desires worship of himself alone, brings the harlot to ruin.
The return of Jesus Christ is immanent. He will destroy the beast’s political and economic empire prior to establishing His kingdom of righteousness and peace.
