In Revelation 13 and into chapter 14 we are shown the evil character of the coming world ruler – the Antichrist.
He is called the “beast out of the sea” and he is empowered by Satan. Through deceit and war and by control of religion and finance he takes authority over the world. He is aided by the false prophet called “the beast out of the earth”. But neither can prevent the eternal gospel from being proclaimed.
