For over 200 years, Australia’s law and culture has been based on the Judeo/Christian (biblical) ethic. How rapidly things have changed. The nation which once at least was nominally Christian is now seen as “secular” – and is very materialistic. One pastor commented: “Our churches are empty and our prisons are full”.
Christian views receive much public scorn. Will Christians soon be free to proclaim Christ? Will persecution become present in Australia as it is now in the Middle East and numbers of other nations? And what on earth is God doing?
